Kindergarten Round Up 2024
This weekend double header vs Lake Quinault has been canceled. There will be an attempt to reschedule the games however they will now be played at Lake Quinault instead of MTS.

The MTS Staff Member of the Week is Rachel Leland.
Rachel Leland serves on our speech therapy team at Muckleshoot Tribal School, helping students improve articulation and language skills. She has worked in education for over 10 years, in various settings, including schools for the Deaf, where she was able to put her American Sign Language skills to good use. Even if you haven't met Rachel, you have probably seen her with all of her green (her favorite color!) on campus. She's easy to pick out in a crowd!
Before joining the MTS team this year, she worked at an elementary school in Arizona for five years, where she helped implement the Speedy Speech program. With this program, students work on speech therapy in short frequent sessions throughout the week, instead of one longer one, which proves to be very effective. Rachel and the speech team have brought this program to MTS and are seeing strong improvement in their students this year!
Rachel has enjoyed getting to know the students and staff at MTS. One highlight has been the chance to work with one of her students on a ski trip to Crystal Mountain! During her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, playing board games, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Mark your calendars for this years Winter Sports Banquet! Come share a meal (provided by Pac Island Grill) and celebrate the growth of our young student athletes this season. It is a perfect time to show our appreciation for the work and sacrifices everyone put in during those long winter months!

Home opener for MTS Baseball and Fastpitch today 4PM at Muckleshoot Tribal School. The teams will host the Braves of La Conner in hopes to start the year on the right foot. Games are scheduled to be played today rain or shine (but looks like rain) be sure to prepare accordingly. Go Kings!
