Proposal for adoption of a revised Tribal School Nondiscrimination Statement The Muckleshoot Tribal School expressly prohibits harassment or discrimination based upon gender, race, creed, color, national origin sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, religion, age, genetic disposition, federally recognized Indian Tribe membership, veteran or marital status, the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability or the use of a trained dog guide or service. Nothing in this policy is intended to be inconsistent with the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe’s ordinances, and any official Muckleshoot Indian Tribe policy, such as the Indian Preference Policy and the Tribal School’s Enrollment Preference Policy which is designed to further the interests of the Tribe and other Indians through special training, cultural and employment opportunities.
