My name is Richard Torralba and I am very excited to have been selected as Principal for the Muckleshoot Tribal School.

I am originally from Oklahoma and a tribal member of the Comanche Nation. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and my Masters in Education degree in School Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.


My professional experience spans forty-two years in education which includes eight years in Public School and thirty-four years of service in Bureau of Education Schools from Oklahoma to New Mexico and Arizona.

My career service includes stints as a Paraprofessional, Teacher, Principal ( Elementary and Secondary ) and Assistant Superintendent.


I have coached football, basketball ( boys/girls ), track ( boys/girls ), cross-country and baseball. I also served as Athletic Director for twelve years.


I am married and have a son who is a teacher in Moore ,Oklahoma and a daughter who lives in Anadarko, Oklahoma.


I am proud and excited to be part of the Muckleshoot Tribal School and plan to support the children, parents, community and staff of my new school.
